Oh, Wednesday.

Yes, yes, tis only wednesday.

But I am very excited for Friday because I have tickets to go see one of my favorite bands, Circa Survive. It will be my third time seeing them :)

Music is wonderful. Don't you agree? What kind of music do you like? I feel like listing the music I have been listening to most lately.

Fleet Foxes
Good Old War
The Kenny Finn Band
Band of Horses
Regina Spektor

That's some reeeeaaally great stuff. Definitely take a listen.

A Beautiful Rainy Friday!

What could be better? :)

I could not be more pleased for a weekend than I am right now. I have had a very trying week, but it is time for me to move passed that. I plan to engulf myself in a Fleet Foxes cd while watching the rain. I adore the rain...

Do you all know of Etsy.com? Well, you should :) I've been looking through it a lot, and here are some things that have attracted my eyes...

From Art and Ghosts (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5032864)

From Sarah Ogren's shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=86028)

Aren't they just lovely? You all should definitely take a look. Maybe buy something and support these wonderful artists?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Do something for yourself. I'm thinking of an indie movie marathon, hours spent reading, lots of music listening, and perhaps a walk in the rain. I will not mention my loads of homework...that will just put a damper on my little speech... ;)

Anyway,

an extremely talented artist, Lisa Falzon, is holding a "lottery". Check it out! And look at her beautiful and whimsical work! Her art fills my soul with happiness :)

The Lovely, BEAUTIFUL Summer!

It is finally summer vacation! Oh, how wonderful. I am of course loaded with tons of summer homework, but other than that, I'm thrilled!
I can't wait to fill my days with museums, books, movies, friends, walks in the cool summer evening, music, concerts like crazy! Wow. Summer. What a wonderful season.
I hope everyone is doing well?

The First of June

Wow, is anyone else shocked that today is the first day of June? That means a few things to me. Summer! And finals. Awful. This week will be my last week of school, and I can't help but feel that my teachers have slightly sadistic feelings for their students. Of course I am talking about my homework load.

Anyway, I don't want to talk about school. I mean really, would you? I didn't think so.

I'd rather talk about the beautiful day that is today. It's a good 76 degrees, and I would give anything to go out for a walk. Unfortunately, I am stuck in my home, writing an eight page book report on "The Napoleon of Notting Hill" by G.K. Chesterton. Oh joy.

Well, I best be off. Six more pages to go.

I would like to leave you all with this picture by Camille Rose Garcia:
Isn't it incredible?
